We offer a beautiful beach front property on two private acres with 450 feet of beach front. We are unique from other properties in that we are set well off the road, offering maximum quiet and solitude. You can not see any neighbors from our property. At Molokai's Hale Kai there are two accommodation options to choose from, our home and guest cottage. The house and cottage are very private from each other. In fact, you can barely see either from the other. Each has it's own unobstructed view of the ocean from an expansive covered deck. Both have old Hawaiian charm with all the modern amenities and are each beautifully furnished and appointed. The property feels like a park, your own private park in fact. It is beautifully landscaped with many tropical flora and fauna. Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking out front is safe and very user friendly. We offer two ocean kayaks for our guests to use during their stay for exploring the offshore reef and nearby coast.

Hale Kai House is a beachfront 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. It was built in plantation style so it has old Hawaiian charm with all the modern conveniences. There are panoramic views out of every window. The whole house has open beam ceilings, wood floors, granite and marble counter tops, charming colors, and is furnished beautifully. The kitchen is well equipped and roomy. There is comfy, leather furniture in the living room, a large mango dining table, and other unique furniture pieces throughout. Both bedrooms have comfortable, king sized beds, their own bath and are located on opposite ends of the house from each other. The covered lanai has offers stunning views of the reef and ocean our front. It is one of our favorite spots in the world to hang out. So peaceful and beautiful. The house is only 70 feet back from the beach, so you feel like you are at the waters edge. The house was our home initially, so you will truly feel like you are coming to your home away from home.

FOR FOUR ADULTS: $2000 per week (April thru Nov); $2200 per week (Dec thru March)
Plus a $135 cleaning fee for two, $185 for four, and 13.42% Tax
$500 Refundable Security Deposit
$295 (for 2), $350 (for 4) per night for shorter stays if available

***Hale Kai Cottage by the Sea***

The cottage is a very spacious studio, perfect for one to two people. Most folks say it is actually much roomer than it looks online!! It was designed with the aesthetic at heart and an attention to detail. It is fully and comfortably furnished with beautiful teak furniture, a leather couch, and a comfortable king size bed. It has high ceilings, charming warm colors, wood floors, a complete kitchen, and a full bath. It also has a large, covered lanai with, of course, a beautiful ocean view. The deck has a teak table and chairs set, plus two comfy, cushioned patio chairs. There is a hammock hanging in front for afternoon naps or evening star gazing. The cottage is situated on the property in such a way which maximizes privacy from our main house while offering an unobstructed ocean view.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Reservations are confirmed when a security deposit of 50% of total booking is received at least 10 days after booking. Confirmation will be made by email once the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. If making reservations within 45 days of your arrival, full payment will be required at time of booking.
Payment for rentals is by check or money order. Sorry we do not accept credit cards.
The security deposit will be returned following departure minus any additional charges or damages.

Cancellation of a booking at any time after confirmation has been issued will result in forfeiture of the initial 50% deposit unless the unit can be re-booked for the same time period at the same rate. Cancellation within 45 days of arrival will result in 100% loss of paid amounts unless the unit can be re-booked for the same time period at the same rate of the initial booking.
If a portion of the rental time is re-booked, a pro rata refund will be made.
For all cancellations, a $100 processing fee will be charged and deducted from any refund.
To protect against cancellations due to unforeseen events, we recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
